The threats of bombs against Simon Harris’ house Tánaist

A spokesperson for a Garda Siochana, the Irish police, said they were investigating the issue.

It is understood that Mr. Harris is not at home and that the dog unit kept is on the scene.

This is the third threat against Mr. Harris, Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defense, in just over a week.

Harris said on Saturday that a “vile” threat had been made against a member of the nearby family, who was the subject of an investigation.

A woman was arrested and released from Garda custody during the week after a threat to Mr. Harris’ children.

A file is being prepared for the director of public prosecution.

Harris said on Saturday in a statement that the threats taken against him and his family had “a very apparent motivation” which was to “intimidate me from the public service”.

“What I and my family have encountered in recent weeks is not a political debate. It is an abuse. It is an intimidation,” he said.

“It is behavior that should never be treated as normal. And no one is to blame except those who choose to abuse and threaten.

“As I said in recent days, I know that we are supposed to be silent. I know that for some, it seems to be a new reality that people in public life must accept. But I can’t.

“It’s me today but it will be someone else tomorrow.”

He said he would consult his Gael fines and government colleagues on online threats and intimidation.

“Someone has to be called. Protecting my family will remain my number one priority. I will be guided by them on the next steps. ”

Harris also received threats before, in particular via social media and a threat of a telephone bomb.

Demonstrations have also been held in front of his home, where his wife and children live.
