German Munich Airport reopened after several drone observations around the airport interrupted flights.
Nearly 3,000 passengers were put to the ground, 17 runners were canceled and 15 arriving flights were diverted to other cities, including Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Vienne and Frankfurt.
Camp beds have been installed and blankets, drinks and snacks were provided to the passengers affected, a statement from Munich airport said.

The German authorities have launched a research to identify the origin of drones.
Police helicopters have been deployed, but “no information is available on the type and number of drones,” said airport spokesperson.

Moscow said that it “firmly rejects” any suggestion of involvement, Russian President Vladimir Putin accusing Europe of catching up “hysteria” to justify increasing military spending.
The EU heads of state met in Copenhagen this week to discuss the strengthening of the block defenses with the creation of a “drone wall”.
Denmark has accepted a Swedish offer from Stockholm anti-drone technology to ensure that the meeting could take place without disruption.
Meanwhile, the United States sends anti-drone defenses to Denmark, said the Copenhagen Ministry of Defense.
NATO said that it had “improved vigilance” in the Baltic according to the intrusions of airspace.
