American president Donald Trump said on Sunday that Hamas should accept his terms to put an end to his war with Israel when he continues to put pressure for the end of the fighting.
“Everyone wants hostages at home. Everyone wants this war to end! The Israelis have accepted my conditions. It is time for Hamas to accept also. I warned Hamas of the consequences of not accepting,” wrote Trump in a social article of truth. “This is my last warning, there won’t be another!”
The report follows the news that Steve Witkoff, the envoy of the Middle East of Donald Trump, recently submitted a new proposal to Hamas for a liberation agreement of ceasefire and hostage.

According to Axios, the proposal was delivered via an Israeli peace activist and based on information from familiar sources with exchange. Hamas later confirmed that it had received suggestions on the American side, transported by mediators, aimed at making a cease-fire in Gaza.
The group said that he was discussing mediators to develop these ideas, without giving details.
Hamas has also reiterated its preparation for negotiations to release all hostages in exchange for a “clear announcement of an end of war” and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the enclave.
“I think we are going to have an agreement on Gaza very soon,” Trump told journalists when he returned to Washington from New York, without offering details. He added that he thought that all the hostages would have returned, dead or alive. “I think we will get them all.”
On Saturday, Israel N12 News reported that Trump had presented a new ceasefire proposal in Hamas.

An Israeli official said that Israel “seriously envisaged” Trump’s proposal but had not developed his details, AFP reported.
The attack of October 7, 2023 left 1,219 dead, mainly civilians, according to an AFP count based on Israeli data.
