September 10 (UPI) – Three former FBI officials accuse the director of the FBI Kash Patel and the Attorney General Pam Bondi of “politicizing” the FBI in dismissing the people involved in the investigation into President Donald Trump.
The former FBI acting director, Brian Driscoll Jr., the former deputy director in charge of Steven Jensen and the former special agent Spencer Evans appoint Patel, the FBI, the Ministry of Justice, the executive post of the President and the Federal Government as defendants in a federal trial.
They filed an unjustified legal action on Wednesday before the American district district court.
The three former FBI officials say they “served this country with distinction and courage as special agents and senior officials” at the FBI.
Their six decades of experience combined with the FBI included the prevention of terrorist attacks, the rescue of American hostages, saving children from predators and deactivating violent street gangs, they say.
“Each day of their service was dedicated to the protection of the American people and to the realization of the oath they took when they joined the FBI,” say Driscoll, et al., Let’s say.
This oath was to “support and defend the constitution of the United States” and “endure true faith and allegiance to the same” “, according to them.
Patel dismissed the three complainants on August 8 and informed them via a letter from a single page to each “violation of the federal law and the constitution of the United States”, according to the complainants.
“Patel not only acted illegally but deliberately priority to the politicization of the FBI to protect the American people,” say Driscoll, et al., Let’s say.
“His decision to do so has degraded the national security of the country in dismissing three of the most experienced operating leaders in the FBI, each of the experts in the prevention of terrorism and the reduction of violent crimes.”
Patel would have “admitted that his superiors … had ordered him to dismiss anyone who they identified as having worked on a criminal investigation against President Donald J. Trump,” Driscoll, et al.
The Ministry of Justice did not immediately respond to a request for comments on the issue.
