SNP Westminster SNP, Stepen Flynn, demanded Prime Minister Keir Starmer Sack Mandelson as an ambassador of the United Kingdom in the United States.
Keir Starmer was invited to dismiss the United Kingdom Ambassador to the United States for his links with the Pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
SNP Westminster, Stephen Flynn, said that Prime Minister should fire Lord Mandelson, who had resigned twice from the last Labor government, without delay.
On Wednesday, the Prime Minister tried to defend the peer after he emerged that he had written a birthday note to Epstein in 2003 in which he described the deceased financial as his “best boyfriend”.
Sir Keir said he had “confidence” at Lord Mandelson and “regular procedure was followed” during his appointment.
But he quickly faced calls to reject the peer following reports that he had supported Epstein while the financier was the subject of an investigation for sexual offenses.
Reports in the sun and Bloomberg have revealed emails in which Lord Mandelson told Epstein that he “followed you closely and here each time you need it” and exhorted him to “remember the art of war” when he treated with the prosecutors.

He would also have told Epstein to “fight for early release” shortly before he was sentenced to 18 months in prison, and said to him: “I think the world of you” the day before his conviction.
Flynn said: “Keir Starmer must dismiss Peter Mandelson without further delay – and be cleaned on what he knew when and if he sanctioned blocking the publication of damaging equipment.
“The documents of the British government should not be hidden from the public simply because they damage the Labor Party – and by supporting Peter Mandelson at the forefront, the Prime Minister’s own reputation is now at stake.
“Keir Starmer is always quick to throw his colleagues under the bus when it suits him – it is therefore amazing that he has aligned himself so closely with Lord Mandelson, in particular given the increasingly precarious nature of the Prime Minister’s own position.
“We promised voters and a better future but, under Keir Starmer, the United Kingdom went from bad to worse.
“The Labor government is concluded in constant chaos and the Sleaze, the cost of living rises, unemployment is a high level of four years, the poverty of children is at record levels, the British economy has been degraded and public finances have deteriorated.”
E-mail reports between Lord Mandelson and Epstein have also aroused calls from conservative and Labor politicians for the ambassador to be dismissed.
Conservative chief Kemi Badenoch described revelations as “disgusting” and said that Lord Mandelson’s position was “untenable”.
By asking why Sir Keir had continued to defend him in the communes, Badenoch said: “He is a weak Prime Minister, leading a government mired in the scandal. The public deserves better.
“Peter Mandelson must be dismissed now.”
She was joined by work deputies Richard Burgon and Nadia Whittome, who also asked Lord Mandelson to be “immediately”.
