Metropolitan police have arrested demonstrators for offenses, including the support of the prohibited terrorist group’s action.
The arrests include six detained persons for exceeding a banner supporting the group prohibited on the Westminster deck.

But most of the arrests occurred at Trafalgar Square, where the demonstrators held pacards showing their support for the action of Palestine.
Metropolitan police said: “At 5.20 p.m., 355 people had been arrested for supporting a prohibited organization.
“The majority of people who are still in Trafalgar Square are spectators who do not hold signs in support of the action in Palestine. Arrests continue. “
The organizers defend our juries said that more than a thousand people had gathered at the landmark of the center of London to organize a mass and silent watch protesting against the proscription while the names of the Palestinian children killed in the conflict of Israel-Hamas are read.
I urge anyone who is thinking of protesting this weekend to recognize and respect the sorrow of the British Jews.
It’s a moment of mourning. Now is not the time to sto the tension and cause new pain. It’s time to stay together.
We are a country that welcomes all people, whatever …

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer urged the demonstrators to “respect the sorrow of the British Jews”, while Jewish personalities described the action “phenomenally deaf” after the murder of two people on Thursday.
A vicar, who was sitting with his eyes closed and holding a poster saying: “I oppose the genocide, I support the action of Palestine”, was one of the people arrested and carried out by the police.
Some people in the crowd called the “shameful” police and one said to the police “thank you for protecting us” while the woman was taken.
Two elderly men were also seen by each member on the southwest side of the square, where police officers and police were waiting to deal with arrests.

Dave Rich, director of the community of the Community Security Trust Charity, who offers protection to the Jewish community, told BBC Radio TODAY’s Program: “I think it is a phenomenal tone for taking police resources, for the protection of rights and freedoms of the Earth to live, which is not living in the synagogue in security, all as supporting the Palestinians.
“And I think it’s remarkably self-absorbed and insensitive, to say the least.”
But Kerry Moscogiuri, director of campaigns for the human rights group Amnesty International UK, “said:” Stop hundreds of people to sit peacefully and hold these panels is not the work of the police.
“These arrests are in violation of international human rights obligations in the United Kingdom and should not occur.”

The MET had urged the group to cancel its plans, Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley saying: “By deliberately choosing to encourage mass law on this scale, defending our juries distance the precious resources of the London communities at a time when they are most necessary.”
Police Minister Sarah Jones said many of those who attended the event “wanted to be arrested, that’s their goal”.
She said, “We believe in the rights of people to protest.
A similar event organized by the Greater Manchester Friends of Palestine also took place on Saturday.
After a crowd of around 100 pro-Palestinian supporters gathered in front of Manchester cathedral to listen to speeches, they moved en masse to walk in the city center.
As they struck the battery and chant the “free Palestine!”, A group of counter-demonstrators got ahead, walking in front and holding a flag saying “F *** Hamas” and shouting “release the hostages”.
The Grand Manchester police chief Sir Stephen Watson urged potential participants to the demonstration to “determine if it’s really the right time”.
Police forces have deployed additional officers to synagogues and other Jewish buildings to provide protection and insurance in the aftermath of the attack.
