Sir Keir previously said that the United Kingdom will recognize a Palestinian state to support a two-state solution to the Middle East crisis.

He said he would do it in the coming weeks unless the Israeli government takes “substantial” measures to end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, accept a ceasefire and engage in long-term lasting peace.

Sir Keir also demanded that Hamas release all the Israeli hostages it has taken, connects to a cease-fire and disarmaments.
