In a press release, Rubio said: “The United States remains available for direct commitment with Iran – in the continuation of a peaceful and sustainable resolution to the Iranian nuclear issue.” He added that the “snapback does not contradict our serious desire for diplomacy, it is only improving.”
Rubio also urged Iranian leaders to take the necessary measures to ensure that their nation never obtains a nuclear weapon for the peace and prosperity of the Iranian people.
